Archived Update — February 2007

C-CIARN NEWS

Throughout the past six years C-CIARN Agriculture has worked towards its primary goal of promoting research into climate change risks and adaptation for the Canadian agri-food sector. As the topic of climate change predominates, we are confident our 600 C-CIARN-Ag members will become even more involved in the issue and continue the work needed to ensure Canadian agriculture is prepared for future climate and weather risk management. In keeping with our current funding schedule, C-CIARN Agriculture will scale back activities throughout the next three months. One of our tasks involves collaborating with other C-CIARN sectoral and regional offices to ensure resources (such as selected documents and the bibliographic database) are available for the near future. Updates and notices will continue during the next three months as well. Your comments and suggestions on what you have found useful and would like to have continued are welcome.
